Delivery times are a concern to every bride. Virtually every bridal boutique is a special order retail establishment. This means that while we have hundreds of gowns in the store, the vast majority of brides order a dress to fit her measurements. Designers do not start making your dress until we place the order. Once we place the order, designers do not allow us to retract the order.
We use UPS as our shipper. Therefore, make sure delivery addresses are serviced by UPS.
When we place the order, we are given an estimated ship date by the designer. This is the approximate date at which the dress will leave the designer's U.S. location. It usually takes three days to get to us. This ship date is a 'target' date the designer gives to us and we in turn give to you. It is a good faith estimate about when the dress will be finished and shipped. It is NOT a hard and fast date. The actual arrival of your dress can be 10-20 days before or after the estimated ship date. Please make all of your preparations on the basis of the 'good faith' ship date, but please do make the shipping date a hard and fast date.
Dresses sometimes arrive very early for reasons beyond our control. The designer sometimes has the exact dress you ordered ready for shipment and sends it to us. This is a very good outcome, but it might place a financial burden on you to pay the balance before you are ready. If it does, just let us know and we will work with you.
